In such diverse fields as “AI” “Blockchain” “Drucker Management Theory” “Project Management” “Communication Skills Improvement” “Data Science” “Consulting Skills” “Life and P&C Insurance Industry” “Business Strategy”,
teams are organized for each theme and research is conducted on an independent basis.
To share information across our organization, the results of these research activities are regularly announced to all employees. The main research topics are as follows.
The AI Research Group began due to an interest in the autonomous growth of AI, and AI’s potential to make a significant contribution to the advancement of society.
The objective is to acquire knowledge and skills regarding artificial intelligence to facilitate its usefulness and application to society and business.
Currently, the AI Research Group gathers information utilizing academic journals by the Academy of Artificial Intelligence as study material and proactively attending seminars held by the academy.
To complement each other’s expertise and experience, each member of the group announces at the workshop and puts forward for discussion the results of their research, promoting understanding at the team level.
Test teams are also set up as a result of these activities, and with continuous participation in AI competitions, are involved in activities that lead to the creation of business opportunities.
The purpose of this training is to acquire knowledge of how data science can be applied to business, while giving a bird’s-eye view of the social circumstances and technology related to the science.
Employees carry out an exhaustive study of the necessary skillsets to be able to solve various problems as a data scientist.
The essence of data science is "statistics," "machine learning," and the "optimization methods" to support these. They are studied based on their mathematical context, and practical research methodology is learnt through actual exercises.
By researching business strategy development in parallel to assessing domain, core competency, resource allocation and so on to generate an effective strategy creation narrative, not only will such expertise contribute to our own strategy, it is also actively being linked to a Strategy Development Consultation business.
In addition, on the basis that significant gains can be made not only from examples of successful business strategies, but also failed ones, the team is conducting a sizable amount of research into corporations, with application of these as case studies.
